AT HOME SMOOTHIE BOWLS
GLUTEN-FREE | DAIRY-FREE
Every single morning, I make myself a smoothie or a smoothie bowl. If I have a little more time on my hands, smoothie bowls are more filling, of course. There is no specific science to smoothies, in my opinion. I don't always have exact measurements, so you will have to figure out what works best for you on your own for these simple and easy bowls!
- frozen raspberries
- frozen blueberries
- apple juice
- crushed ice
- unsweetened almond milk
- honey nut cheerios
First, make the smoothie. Add crushed ice to the blender. Then add frozen raspberries and blueberries.
Add enough apple juice so all fruit and ice is emerged. Blend + chop until smooth. Add a bit of almond milk for a more creamy base to the smoothie.
After fully blended, add smoothie to a bowl. Make sure foot is already cut up so smoothie doesn't melt.
Layer smoothie bowl with cheerios + strawberries. Drizzle with honey!
Serve + enjoy! :)
I have found that these cute salsa and dip bowls work well for smoothie bowls. Listed below are a couple good bowl options for at home smoothie bowls! + West Elm Dip Bowls
